  • Day 1: Fish

  • Day 2: Insects

  • Day 3: Random Drawing References

All drawings done under 10 minutes. This challenge was difficult and eye opening. Throughout my life I have struggled to claim my ability to draw, and this challenge didn't leave enough time to hesitate. It forced me to move quickly and turned off my inner critic. In the end it is clear to me that I can draw from references quickly, efficiently, and accurately. Knowing that I have this ability has opened many doors for me. I think that the challenges that I will be facing now are how to compose interesting and dynamic compositions, creating imagery without "perfect" references, and finding ways to express myself and my identity in my pieces.
