Installation class reflections
August Meeting (8.26): We discussed my plans and goals for the semester,
September Meeting (9.27): This meeting was very illuminating, I was able to realize a few more of the "rules" that I hold myself to in my art practice and take steps towards moving away from them. After looking at the work-in-progress pieces, we made a plan for me to update and refine them, with the deadline to present them at our next meeting. The Invisible Veil- white hoop, white embroidery, white printing? skeleton still? on the floor?
Terracota- water resistant base for large hoop to put clay into to let dry, organic shapes
Basket- build up, make it bigger and taller. Add something in the center (soil with gold flecks, plants, seeds, etc)
Glass & Light- needs to be raised to eye-level, wall-mounted floating shelf?
October Meeting (10.?): Canceled- replaced with support and edits of application materials
