This semester is a big commitment and it is difficult to conceptualize what it is going to look like and how my art practice is going to grow and change. I know that my experiences and conversations at WaterMarks are having an impact on me, but it's hard to see how. WaterMarks' design leans heavily on community work and engagement to be successful. In my art practice, the only way I think about community is as an audience, rather than an active member in the making process.
